We aim to be a delicious resource for those following a low-sodium, low-saturated fat, and low-cholesterol diet. However, what works for my dad may not suit your specific dietary needs or restrictions. Here is a list of sauces I've amassed for the times when I just need a quick snack for dad! I try to keep the dipping sauces under 200mg of sodium or less. They are hard to find sometimes!

4 years ago my family's worlds turned upside down when my dad had an emergency triple bypass during the start of the pandemic. We scrambled to adapt to my dad's new life and diet. With this blog, we hope to support families and their loved ones with heart disease and help them through this foodie journey. The wisdom I share on this website reflects years of slamming pots and pans in my kitchen, many failed recipes, discovering new foods and surprising successes!
